Florida tournament points: what is public, and what is still unknown.
A review of One Eyed Jacks and the other 28 Florida rooms tracked by TableMaster, with a focused investigation into PokerAtlas scoring.
Updated 11 October 2026 · Sources: operator websites, official rules, public standings and dated historical coverage
One Eyed Jacks publishes tournament points, but its scoring formula was not found in the reviewed public sources. No public PokerAtlas or TableCaptain specification was located that establishes a universal tournament-points equation. Several Florida operators do publish numerical scoring rules, and those rules differ by program. Calling the One Eyed Jacks formula proprietary would go beyond the evidence.

The eight include two completed 2026 campaigns. Daytona and Orange City share one program. These are venue counts, not counts of active or independent scoring systems.
What can be established about PokerAtlas?
PokerAtlas listings, TableCaptain room-management software, a room's own leaderboard, and the PokerAtlas Tour are separate things to investigate. A room appearing on PokerAtlas does not identify who calculates its points or what rule is configured.

Public totals, unexplained calculation
The live monthly table shows current points and an update dated 10 October 2026. A separate Player of the Year page also publishes totals. The monthly board, annual board and promotions page did not reveal numerical scoring rules.
The public tables are presented through the room's website. That display alone cannot establish whether the underlying calculation comes from TableCaptain, a room-defined rule, or another workflow.
Public product material and the accessible TableCaptain help category did not supply a tournament-points equation or establish whether a default is configurable. There may be customer-only documentation or settings; neither was available in this review.
A useful outside-Florida example is PURE Casino Yellowhead: its site advertises TableCaptain-powered activity alongside published POY criteria and a points calculator. That proves public scoring information can coexist with TableCaptain use. It does not prove that TableCaptain performs that calculation.
Evidence-based conclusion: the One Eyed Jacks calculation is publicly undocumented in the material reviewed. Whether it is a vendor default, a configurable room rule, or a separate calculation remains unresolved. Public monthly totals cannot uniquely reveal an equation without the underlying event inputs.
Published calculations show that points are program-specific
Four rooms have substantive numerical rules for a 2026 program: Daytona, Orange City, Tampa and Hollywood. Published rules still need an operational check before reproducing them in software.
Daytona Beach and Orange City
The joint program runs from 1 February 2026 through 31 January 2027. Its rules use buy-in, total entries and finishing place, with numerical tables for each. First place is 100 points before the factors; second is 90. The rules mention five additional re-entry points, a 40-point survivor maximum and chip-count ranking when players make a deal.
The source identifies Bravo as the entry/finish capture system. Clarify the treatment of participation and re-entry points, rounding, and events beyond the published factor bands before treating this as a complete executable specification.
The completed SHRPO campaign of 28 July to 11 August 2026 multiplies a field-size factor by either cashing points or non-cashing entry points. Third place earns 50 base points. A field of 151 to 200 has a 1.3 multiplier. A five-player deal gives all five players fifth-place points, which are 38.
Worked examples derived from the published rulesThird place in a 200-player field: 50 × 1.3 = 65 points.Five-player deal in that field: 38 × 1.3 = 49.4 points each.
These examples assume an eligible event. The published bands overlap at exactly 800 players, so that boundary needs clarification.
The completed 1 September to 5 October 2026 program publishes buy-in and entry factors, finishing points and five participation points per eligible entry. First place receives 95 finishing points. Bravo captures entries and finishes; chip counts determine points after a deal.
The printed equation has an unresolved term. Its participation term uses an entries factor, while its cashing term says Place Cashed Points X Entries X Buy-in Factor. It does not say whether that second Entries means the factor or raw count. A results deadline still refers to July 2025. These inconsistencies require confirmation from the operator.
Club 52 explains that stronger finishes and more play build points, but its The Formula section gives no mathematical rule. PBKC publishes double-point days without the base calculation located here. Coconut Creek advertises tournament points without a numerical formula found.
A February 2020 event page awards monthly qualification points at one per dollar won. For deals, it uses the scheduled payout associated with the player's chip-count position. A separate scale awards the monthly final's winner 100 POY points, decreasing to one for 100th.
This is a documented historical system, not evidence of the rules in force today.
Tracking means evidence of a room or room-series tournament points program. Public standings means actual point totals, not tournament payouts, a calendar or a promise to post winners. Scoring detail describes what was found about how points are awarded.

Monthly standings dated 10 October 2026. Totals are visible; their calculation is not explained.
WSOP confirms a room leaderboard covering both Circuit and other property events in October 2025. Current promotion review did not establish a 2026 continuation.
Ante Up reported a room POY points race in its November 2008 issue, printed page 10. This is secondary historical evidence, not current operator confirmation.
No tournament points program established - 17 rooms
Unverified does not mean absent. No qualifying evidence was located in the reviewed public material. Private systems, in-room notices and unindexed posts can exist.

Start with the operator's current scoring definition and one event's point breakdown. If the rule is unavailable locally, ask PokerAtlas support to identify the relevant TableCaptain setting or documentation for that room and software version.
Suggested request for the existing conversation
Could you share the rule or configuration that generates One Eyed Jacks' tournament leaderboard points, plus one completed tournament's point breakdown? We are trying to establish which inputs affect the score and whether this is a TableCaptain default, a room-specific configuration, or a calculation outside TableCaptain.
This wording is prepared for the room discussion; no outreach was sent as part of this research.
A1 - Establish the source of the rule. Capture its name, software version, effective date and whether monthly and annual boards use the same definition. Ask who can change it and whether manual adjustments are possible.
A2 - Obtain an anonymized event breakdown. Include buy-in and fee/bounty components, total entries versus unique players, re-entries, finishing positions, cash amounts, deal treatment, base points, bonuses and final credited points.
A3 - Validate ordinary and exception cases. Reconcile several events with different field sizes and buy-ins, including a re-entry, a deal and any special multiplier. Confirm rounding and how scores aggregate or reset.
Recommended TableMaster treatment: until the rule is confirmed, preserve operator-supplied points as sourced values. Keep each program's scope and dates attached to those values. Do not use one room's formula to reconstruct another room's score or compare raw totals across unrelated programs.
Scope, confidence and limits
The review covers the 29 rooms in TableMaster's tracked Florida roster as checked on 11 October 2026. It is not a census of every licensed Florida cardroom. Official poker, tournament, promotion and leaderboard pages were reviewed alongside targeted searches for points, leaderboards, POY and scoring rules. Public PDFs and live browser views were used where relevant.
Positive 2026 findings rely on operator or program-organizer sources. The Silks historical finding is explicitly based on dated secondary reporting. Confidence is high that the cited positive evidence exists; confidence that an undocumented program does not exist is inherently low. Current statements are tied to the period shown in the source, not the search engine's crawl date.
Search access was uneven. Some sites rely on images, dynamic pages or social posts; some linked files could not be retrieved. The review did not access authenticated operator dashboards, customer-only manuals, private social groups or in-room signage. It did not validate a scoring formula against an event-level operator export.
Casino loyalty/tier points, cash-game time rewards, high-hand eligibility, external GPI rankings and simple tournament payout results were excluded unless a source explicitly tied them to the room's tournament points program.
Compiled 11 October 2026. Sources are linked beside each finding. Scope: 29 TableMaster-tracked Florida rooms, with one outside-Florida example used only to assess the PokerAtlas question.
Point programs and web pages can change. Historical evidence and unresolved calculations are labeled throughout.
