Series Points Proposal · One Eyed Jacks · Sarasota
Eight Summer Showdown events, scored from two numbers the desk already writes down: where a player finished, and how many entries there were. It runs alongside the room's existing Poker Atlas points and replaces nothing.
Series runs Aug 17 to Aug 30, 2026 · Working prototype, everything below is live
Rounded to whole points, scored exactly as deep as you pay: the top 10% of entries, rounded up. Cashed means scored.
Version A
A $150 event and a $440 event award identical points for the same finish in the same size field. Best when you want the board open to the whole room.
Version B
The same formula, multiplied by one number set per event. Best when you want the marquee events to carry the race.

Type the entry count; the page works out how many places pay and gives you that many rows. The first three events hold made-up sample results so there is something to look at. Events 2 and 5 are missing on purpose: the Seniors and Ladies events are restricted entry, so not every player has the same chance to earn points and they are not scored. The room's own event numbers are kept.

Version A, for this series. A flat race is easier to post, easier to explain at the desk, and impossible to argue with. Flip the switch above and read the line under Standings: it counts how many players the change actually moves. Version B earns its keep over a full season, where a $1,100 Main sitting alongside $150 nightlies makes flat scoring genuinely unfair.
